Ugh…I am so tired! I have been working really hard lately. I have been back and forth to Denver the past 3 weeks and this is my final week…yeah! I have been taking some classes for Coldwell Banker called fast start. At first I was pessimistic about the classes, but I have come to really enjoy them. I feel like I have a real grasp of how to get started in hte world of real estate.
I have been training a lot lately as well. The weather has been crappy. We have has tons of snow lately and it has been impossible to get out on our bikes. I have been doing a lot of indoor riding and lots of swimming and running. Last week was my biggest week of the season so far. I managed to get about 13 hours including 5 hours of running, 3 hours of swimming and 5 hours of biking. I am really looking forward to some warm weather and the ability to get out on my bike more.
Michael raced this past weekend in California at a half ironman. He had a pretty good showing of 6th place. I think that it is really important to have a race under your belt when preparing for a ironman. He noticed that he needed a lot more fuel than usual and it is better to figure that out at a shoter distance.
My brother, Jarrod, was in town visiting me last weekend. My brother and I are extremely close. He was supossed to be deployed to Iraq in January for the army. However, the army has pushed back his deployment date. I am grateful for that! In any case, he trained with me last Sunday and he was a lot of fun to have around. He really loves triatlon and he want to do a race or two this summer. He bought a tri bike and he is really excited for the season!! I am hoping that he will come to Hawaii this year to watch Michael and possibly me race this October.
Thanks for reading…I am off to ride my trainer for the next 2 hours…
