This morning when I heard the “bump” alert from my i-phone, I saw the phrase: Your baby is the size of a cantaloup! When I think of the size of a cantaloup…I think OMG…that is BIG. I started looking back at photos to see how far I have come. Here is a picture of me and ML in Cozumel this past November, about two months before getting pregnant.

Here I am now…24 weeks pregnant:

I can’t believe I only have 16 weeks to go! ML and I are still trying to figure out a name for this baby. I am hoping that we narrow it down soon…

This past week has been pretty tough and I am really looking forward to focusing more on the baby in the weeks to come.

Things to look forward to this week:

On July 8th I am getting my hair done…YES! There is nothing like getting a little bit of pampering when you just don’t feel that pretty. I love my hair stylist and she never fails me. I have another ultrasound and I get to see her beautiful little face. I am hoping that the hematoma that has been lingering around has dissipated so that I can at least start to swim…although I am not sure that I really want anyone that I know to see me in a bathing suit at this point.

On July 9th I turn 41…WTF?!? How did that happen??

July 10th: catch up with some friends

July 11th: I go to the east coast for a much needed vacation. I am so looking forward to seeing my family and friends. I really need this trip and it could not come at a better time. :)

Happy 4th of July!
